Clint Eastwood's Daughter Morgan Eastwood Marries Tanner Koopmans in 'Intimate' California Wedding! (Exclusive) (2024)

Morgan Eastwood is married!

The writer and producer, 27, who is Clint Eastwood's youngest child, tied the knot with Tanner Koopmans on June 15, at the Mission Ranch in Carmel, California, in front of 130 guests including all seven of her siblings and her 94-year-old legendary actor father.

Morgan, who is expecting her first child, tells PEOPLE that the celebration was "very European-inspired and so perfect. We wanted every element to feel as relaxed as possible." She adds, "I did my own makeup and hair, chose some inexpensive earrings theweek of, and threw on a pair of velvet heels I’d previously worn."

After the couple got engaged last June, "I initially wanted to elope," Morgan says, "but my husband wanted a bigger celebration. I feel like our wedding was the perfect in-between because it was as intimate as it could be (with a huge family like mine), but still lively. It was just immediate family and their partners, close family friends and best friends we’ve known our whole lives growing up in Carmel."

The iconic Mission Ranch, where the couple held their nuptials, was bought in 1986 by Clint — who served as the Carmel Mayor from 1986 to 1988. His purchase rescued the historic 1800s property from being turned into a condominium development. Under his ownership, Clint restored the now 22-acre property and preserved its rich history.

For the pair's ceremony, which was officiated by the bride and groom's longtime friend Connor Marden, Morgan chose an off-the-shoulder gown by Sarah Seven. "I loved that it was simple and straight, with no train or anything flowing," she says. "I bought it a couple months before I got pregnant and they were able to accommodate the pregnancy really easily." She paired the gown with a Mantilla veil from an Etsy shop called Madame Tulle.

The bride's family members also had meaningful roles during the celebration. Her nephew Titan served as the ring bearer, "which was really special," and her father walked her down the aisle. "It wasn’t all planned out and we kind of played it by ear last minute. It was adorable," she adds.

After the couple exchanged vows —"We wanted it as short and sweet as it could possibly be" — guests dined on filet mignon, halibut and butternut squash ravioli during a sit-down dinner.In addition to a cookie bar, they also had a custom vanilla wedding cake by Tart + Tin, which Morgan adds "was amazing."

The couple's laid-back festivities were exactly what they envisioned. "My husband and I didn’t feelpressure to follow any typical wedding traditions" she says. "We didn’t really have any rules when it came to attire, and just wanted guests to wear whatever felt most comfortable. I chose red nails to match my florals. My maid-of-honor Ashley chose a blue dress so wejokethat she was my 'something blue,' but I didn’t have 'something old or something new.'"

Later in the night, the couple shared their first dance to "Baby” by Donnie and Joe Emerson. "A song my husband and I have loved together since we first started dating," she explains.

Reflecting on their nuptials, "My favorite moments were the pre-ceremony first look with my husband and standing at the altar with him," says Morgan. "Even though everything was moving so fast around us, we got a lot of great quality time together on the day."

The bride previously shared a carousel of Instagram photos from the festivities on June 18. "Our perfect day," she captioned her series of wedding photos.

Morgan's mother Dina Ruiz, (who was married to Clint from 1996-2014) was in attendance with her husband Scott Fisher and left a doting comment on Morgan's Instagram post, writing, "If there is such a thing as perfection, we all just experienced it. You are the most loved couple this side of the moon. We love you so much."

Morgan's older brother Scott Eastwood, 38, also praised his sister's nuptials in the comments: "Perfect day," The Longest Ride star wrote.

In addition to Morgan and Scott, Clint is dad to six other kids: Laurie Murray, 70, Kimber Lynn Eastwood, 60, Kyle Eastwood, 56, Alison Eastwood, 52, Kathryn Eastwood, 36, and Francesca Eastwood, 30.

Last month, Morgan and Koopmans announced their pregnancy news with a pair of sweet Instagram photos. “Our Baby,” read the caption on their joint post, which saw both soon-to-be parents cradling Morgan's baby bump.

The pair shared their engagement news on social media last summer while visiting Italy. Morgan showed off her ring in Instagram photos of her and Koopmans looking into each other's eyes.

"Incredibly happy," she wrote alongside the post from June 2023, punctuating her caption with a smiley face and a ring emoji.
